SIR strut bar in SI..??

hey gusy
just wondering if this is easily attainable. i havent looke under the car, but from the looks of my car(00 SI) i have the two mounts on either side of the engine well to mount the bar, but the holes are filled in. theres two little indents where they would put the bolts on the sir. i cant tell, but the metal over the holes LOOKS like its all one piece with the chassis, not just a "cap" or "cover" , so would i have to drill through there??
whats underneath?

You can easily drill through the metal. I had an SIR strut bar on my 98SI. Drill the 4 holes where the indentation is and the bar will bolt on fine. Try a search on H-T because I think there is a DIY there.
