SIR Rims/Tire question

I was thinking of gettin SIR rims for the hatch.. I need to be able to fatter tires on the front, but the stock SI wheels doesn't do it.. I don't wanna buy aftermarket rims, I'm thinking SIR rims is as far as I'd like the mod the exterior.

The question is, can the SIR rims fit 205 or 215's ?

whatever year rims..

well i tried gettin 205s on my 93 SI wheel/hubcaps and trust me it's not safe for high speeds, you know for when i go to the track..

cuz the tires reach too far over the edge of the rims..

i think their like 5.5 " wide..

I have 205/50/15's on my SiR rims, and they fit perfect. They are a bit wider/lower then stock, but not enought to throw the speedo off.

The 99-00 SiR wheels, and the 02-03 Sport wheels are the same. The H's in the centre caps are slightly different color thought. In the US, the SiR style wheels come standard on the EX's I think. Mine are from an 02 Sport.

205/50/15 will fit perfectly on SiR rims. The overall diameter of the tire remains almost the same as the stock 195/55/15, so no worries about the speedometer being off either.
