Short Shifter

Short Shifter

I just installed a short shifter and it hits the exhaust. Any suggestions?

lower the exhaust by bending the hangers

its probubly the heat sheild. no need to lower the exhaust just bend the heat sheild a little or remove it completely.

He is right remove the heat shield and you should not have any more noise. I had the same problem with mine. cheers

yah i have a custom exhaust and with a short shifter ..... the thing is dont hit....

but when i was driving on the highway i couldnt get my shifter out of 5th gear...... pretty phuckin scary.. so on the highway i played around with it making my car coast and the **** came loose... thank God... this happened like 2 weeks ago...

but ill double check it
