shock suggestions for goldlines

Hi guys, I 'm getting a set of goldlines for my hatchback. I had a set on my old hatchback and they dropped it 1.5". I used kyb agj and they worked great. However, the goldlines for my 96 hatch lower it either 1.25 or 2". I think 1.25 isn't quite the drop id like, but two inches maybe too low to use kybs with. Has anyone used kybs with a 2 inch drop? What else would you suggest? Or has anyone lowered a 96 civic by 1.25" and what does it handle like?? SOLO? What are your thoughts?

my friend has a ground control setup on KYB AGX and his car is fuggin LOOOOWWW... like retarded low. it's been that way for a year I guess and no signs of shocks leaking yet. and he drives relatively often in Detroit where the roads are unbelievably bad.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I guess if you look hard enough, you can find bad reviews on anything. I may go with speedtech or something. The goldlines are cheap right now though $199.!! We'll see.

PM Chigga1... he paired up his goldlines with Tokico Illumina's and he has no complaints.
