I was moving my car out of the drive way, and when i was pressing the brakes it make this screatchy sound. When i brake the car to a stop, it seems like i dont have shocks in my left rear. After that i took a test drive around the block, testing the brakes, everything seems to work fine, it doesnt do that anymore. Doesnt make sounds or anything and the rear shocks seem to work fine. i was just wondering if anyone know what can cause this, and what i should do. Cause i know its maybe a sign of something breaking down or something.... I dont even know if its the shocks or whatever it is. I searched around and they say that if the shocks are blown, it would make sounds over bumps and would cause bumpy rides, but it doesnt do that. If anyone can help me out or know what it is itll be helpfull. thanks.

so when you press the brakes it makes a scratchy sound? so you think its the shocks?

HAHA to funny lol if its scratching from the brakes its most likely the brakes!

lol.... if you havent driven your car in a while or it rained you might have a layer of rust over your rotors and your drive around the block was enough braking to get rid of it.
