removing tranny

from b-series motor

and i meant with the motor and tranny already out of the car

who's done it before?

I don't normally play with this stuff but i want to part the tranny to sell it and just wanna make sure i dont screw anything up...even if it is just taking bolts off.

You just have to take the bell housing off.. it's like 6 or 8 14mm bolts (atleast on d-series it is)

it's not too hard man. I assume the linkage is off already and all that?

Yup its just the bolts. And to take off the flywheel you will need one of those 12 point sockets, but I forget what size.

the pressure plate bolts are 10mm 12pt and the flywheel bolts are 17mm 12pt.
What kind of LSD did you get?....please don't say phantom slip.
Are you planning on having someone else install it? I'm guessing so, if you are looking for help on taking the tranny apart from the engine. Make sure that who ever's doing the install really knows what they're doing.
