Recommended shops, anyone?

Hey guys,

Just today when I started my car the engine started to vibrate a bit, then the check engine light came on ....

Didn't look up the code yet, too dark. But the car runs just fine, same engine temp. and RPM's, sounds normal too.

Do you guys know any good shops I could take my car to in Etobicoke/Missisauga area? I am getting close to 100k on my car, and want to get it checked out at the same time.

I'd really appreciate your help.

thanx guys.

Take it for a new timing belt and water pump...

Unless your gonna do a swap "tommorrow"..

Your car should see a Honda dealership a few times in its life..

Rick at RT Motorsport should be able to help you out...

In the phone book...

Don't have the number handy...

Perhaps another member could post it...

Ray or Rich would have it for sure...

Before taking it to a shop, check the code first.

Sorry man, most of the shops i know of in 'sauga are crap. When you walk into a shop and it's obvious you know more about honda's than the mechanic you know there's a big problem there. Or when a so-called "performance expert" suggests your friend should run a mugen chipped p28 with his GSR motor (with stock GSR IM) you know there's an even bigger problem..

Drive the extra few km's to RT, you won't be disappointed.

crap .... still can't go there, it'd take me well over an hour to get there, and I work all day ...

a friend of mine told me that on Kipling & Lakeshore there's a Subaru/Honda/Hundai dealership and a lot of people in the Subaru club swear by them ...

I guess I'll just end up going there, 'cause I really can't afford to take half of the day off work.

Anyone heard of that place?

btw, I can't find that blue connector the FAQ for the "Check Engine Light" is talking about. it's just not there ... even in the book it says the same thing, but the damn thing is not there ...
I've got a '97 Sedan

thanks for your help guys
