creeking sound

hey guys
i just came back from a road trip to montreal. When I got back I noticed this creeking sound as if the frame was shifting. I happens on bumps that I go over slowly. it used to only happen when i go down my driveway.... just want to know what you all think it can be and more importantly is there a way to get rid of this sound because its driving me insane!!!!

thanks

noisy bushings? you gotta locate the noisy ones and take them off and grease em up. just one thing that creaks on cars

Actually, I heard that mineral oil works best... other than replacing them altogether.

That's seems a bit soon for failure...

The Koni's are aftermarket installed when the car was new???

I have the same problem with my 96 CX. I downloaded a Honda service bulletin about the problem and it is possibly a rear trailing arm bushing. There are two of them. I have not had it looked at, but I am betting that is what my problem is. I just turn the stereo louder now. LOL

IF some one knows how I can post a PDF file, I can share it with every one. It is an official Honda service bulletin for 88-00 Civic all.

dented - if you havea creaking noise and a clicking sound when you turn that means your CV joints are gone and you need to get them replaced. I got both mine done 2 months ago and the car turn perfect now.
