You lubricate the threads on which the perch rides... use anti-seize or chassis lubricant. Once a year should do you...

These manufacturures have no racing heritage or expertise in develping coilover systems. They probably don't even test their spring rates , before producing these springs for various car makes.... These are just for looks (car shows) etc and will give your car a nice drop.....

There are other very good/brand name (performance oriented) coilovers out there for our cars. You don't wanna put a cheap ,no name brand on. teh ride quality will be **** ! ........
Some brands to consider are:

-FK Coilovers
-Ground control (uses eibach springs)
-Tein coilovers
-H&R Coilovers
-KW Coilovers
-Skunk2

Great post PULOVR but I disagree with one thing.

#2. blue spring.....2 locking rings that must be tightened against each other

#2. not as good......rings tend to seize up even when lubed

I have the blue ones, I lube them every month or so with the antiseize compound I purchased and I had them for a while now and they don't show any sign of corroding or seizing. I drove them threw winter and lubbed them good, the rings are perfectly intact until this day so im not sure if the other colars from the red ones have an "advantage" over the blue sets. If both are lubbed properly on a monthly or bimonthly basis during the winter and a couple times during the summer they shouldn't seize up.

You do know that some of the above ARE made by some of the companies below, don't you?

My Blue Si, you are one of the few people that actualy DO take care of your coilovers properly. That post was directected at the general public, not at people that actually take are of them.

Like I said in a previous post....

ALL coilover kits will seize up if not taken care of....period
And that goes for the single locking kit as well.
