Question about adding bumpstops to my tokico blues.....
Hey guys, I'm going to start on the suspension and I was wondering, do I put my old bumpstops from my old shocks onto the Tokico blues??????
I'm doing a coil-over setup, and I was wondering if I would need to put those on????
thanks

When I was running my coilover setup with Tokico blues I cut the bumpstops in half and installed them. I also never installed the dust boot either but since my car is not winter driven I wasn't worried about damaging the shock rod.

well the thing with that is the dust boot dosen't seem to fit, but I already made the purchase and have this suspension so I won't be returning them.
What would happen if the bumpstops wouldn't be added??? are they really necessary to add???
BTW: Coilovers are Toms Motorsport

bump stops are there to lessen the shock to the suspesnion and shock tower when you bottom out...so without it you will probobly put a shock through the shock tower and probobly scrap huge when you bottom...jsut get new ones...
