Question about adding bumpstops to my tokico blues.....
Hey guys, I'm going to start on the suspension and I was wondering, do I put my old bumpstops from my old shocks onto the Tokico blues??????
I'm doing a coil-over setup, and I was wondering if I would need to put those on???? thanks |
first off blues wouldn't be my first chioce for coilovers (most have super high spring rate)....what kind of coilovers you using...i'd say save up abit more and get somethign better possibly.....

When I was running my coilover setup with Tokico blues I cut the bumpstops in half and installed them. I also never installed the dust boot either but since my car is not winter driven I wasn't worried about damaging the shock rod.

What would happen if the bumpstops wouldn't be added??? are they really necessary to add??? BTW: Coilovers are Toms Motorsport |
bump stops are there to lessen the shock to the suspesnion and shock tower when you bottom out...so without it you will probobly put a shock through the shock tower and probobly scrap huge when you bottom...jsut get new ones...
