Q: How do plug O2 sensor hole on cat?

How do you plug the o2 sensor on a catalytic?

I don't want to weld it.
i was speculating, the hole looks like it will fit an oil drain bolt.

thanks in advance

Take the O2... ask daquel very nicely for a thread gauge. He can use a caliper for the diameter and the thread gauge for the pitch of the thread. Then you go and order a bolt from any industrial place around. Order a stainless one, and be sure to get a copper or aluminium crush washer. That should do the trick.

possibly..

Sam I have a wide variety of drain plugs and gaskets at work. I'm in tomorrow from 8-3 if you'd like to stop by and see if we have something that'll fit.

I finally got the answer that I wanted by visiting my local muffler shop

The have a screw in bung that uses an alan key that goes right into the hole where the 02 sensor. it can be removed if needed.

they go for $3

add that one to your info books
