powerless b18c1 before 2k...
so, my motor has been runninig great the past little while, but i noticed something weird a cpl weeks ago...
the motor seems as if it has no power under 2k... i don't know why... if i am sitting at idle it idles around 800rpm.. then if i stomp the gas and watch and listen... it climbs to 1600, hesistates for a split second and you can hear it too then it continues to climb up.. anything above say 2k-3k, it juist shoots up as it should...
also, say i juist let off the clutch and launch at like 1200rpm, same thing, if i give it gas, it feels powerless, hesistates and then at like 2k, it starts to just pull... and it pulls pretty nicely too, so i don't know what could be wrong with it.
just did new plug wires/plugs about 3 months ago and replaced my dizzy with another used one cause mine was messed up... but we didn't do the timing, we just matched it up and it ran fine... any ideas???

double check the timing. you may need to adjust it since your replaced all new parts. Running fine is not enough.
Did a D15B swap , car ran fine.. idled perfect.. checked the timing and man we were way off. We just matched the stock dizzy and thought it was fine.

Well since you say you've replaced all spark, and we assume it's not timing.. Then the next thing is not enough fuel, but that would be very unlikely.. You'd be detonating..
If not, it could be very difficult to diagnose. You'd have to test everything related to intake/fuel/spark.
