Power windows on passenger side

Hi, I have a 96 Civic EX and my power windows is not working. Is this common? when I press down on the button, on passenger side or on driver side, the passenger side window does not go down, and there's no motor sound either.

I'm not sure if it's a loose wire or if the motor is gone. Does anyone know how to test what is wrong? and if anyone knows how to replace to p/w motor if it is that issue?

Thanks

Yes, I think there's a loss of power to the windows. Don't think it's the motor anymore 'cause sometimes when I open the door and press down on the button, it would move abit...arghhh...it's bugging me...so does this mean it's the wires???

Hey, I had this problem over the past summer...well kinda. I have a '96 EX and the window would go down but not come back up. It was an intermitant problem. Went to my uncle's shop had them look at it and it was a wire issue. I guess the wired had corroded or something like that. So yeah try taking off the door and see what you can find.

my window fell of its supports and got stuck on the outside of the weather proofing, i took the door pannel off remounted and lubed everything.
works fine now, in the spring im going to take the passenger side door pannel apart and give it a nice lube job.

when you take off the door panel, did you remove the steel part too? do you know how many bolts I have to take off for the steel part? and do you know where I can get new wires ? or how much would it cost? Thanks

And the problem is, my control switch from my driver's door can't open the passenger window either.
