oil pan question

oil pan question

i need i new oil pan, for 92 civic d16z6, are all the 1.5 and 1.6 sohc pans the same ????

all dseries pans are the same yes...

they arent all the same, the different generations use different oil pans. Especially since 96+ use an alumanum pan. get one aftermarket for 50-70$

not all 96+ use an aluminumoil pan, its only the y8's that use aluminum, y7's still use a steel one

werd.... steel on da Y7 cuz we just welded an oil return bung onto mine

also, I dun think they interchange, cuz I remember loudsubz had a lil oilpan blowout LOL and he tired another d-series pan and it didn't work I think??

hmm?? how does that work? all d motors have the same bolt pattern maybe the diffrence is in the oil pickup?? so depth of alum coudl be deepre?shallower?
