oil pan re-installation question

Ok, I'm gonna change my oil pan gasket today. The gasket says that it should be installed DRY with no sealants. The Hayne's manual says that the oil pan has to have RTV sealant on each of the 4 corners. So, does this mean that I install the gasket DRY and then on top of it put the RTV sealant for the oil pan? Or do I just do what the gasket people say and install the whole thing dry?

do as the gasket ppl say, since it's more specific that the manual. The manual is a general guideline using factory parts.

OK well no big deal anyways...i'll notice a leak right away if something goes wrong and just re-do it.

I did mine dry and works fine. My original gasket had some extra sealant where the transmission part was and on the other side by the crank but I put min ein dry and works great.
