O2 Sensor gone bad

hey anyone where i can get a primary O2 sensor for a 2000 civic sir other than from honda cuz they want like 3 bills for 1 and i dun want to spend that much

did you check out CT? they have some bosch 02 sensors there, donno how much though.

NGK/NTK O2 sensors. Well, I'm not sure, but Honda either uses Nippon-Denso or NGK. but for sure I wouldn't be complaining about an NGK O2 sensor. Just need to find the exact replacement number, which will be a bit more work for you but you do wanna save some cash, right?

How does a primary O2 sensor on a 2000 die so fast??

My guess is either contaminated when/if a header was installed, or a FPR was installed with inproper tuning. Another one is an ignition failure... all these will make the O2 crap out, but more than likely contamination kills them fast.

Take your secondary o2, use it as your primary, and get an o2 simulator for $95 to get rid of the secondary without a CEL. Works like a charm.

Didn't get it. Thanks anyways guys. Got there and was told they didn't have the part developed for my car yet.

Ended up getting one shipped from the states.

How can you tell either O2 sensors are "gone" other than taking it out and inspecting them?
