Welcome.
The best suggestion would be to raise the car a bit. H&R sports are not quite as low.
Do you want a lower profile tire or a narrower tire?

now that it's in the proper place.....
how much was your drop? and what size tires do you have on there now? (aside from 17")
cuz i've got a 1.8/2" drop on mine, with 205/45/16 and i've never scraped going over streetcar tracks....(and I live downtown)
it's bumpy....but no scratches....

That just means your car's too low for the conditions you drive in. Or just slow down a bit over those tracks.
I almost refuse to go downtown because some of the roads are so bad.

You can go with a 205/45-17, but that's going to shoot your speedo off by a bit, and kill your acceleration even more than just the added weight of the rims themselves.
Many tire manufacturers make the size. So you won't have any problems finding one you like.

I had the same problem but also had my tires rubbing against the fender when I turned hard, It cut up my tires pretty bad.. So I bent the sharp edge up... Then I was getting pulled over constantly and cops were constantly checking if my ride hieght was too low.. got fed up so I bought APEXi adjustable coil overs and raised my ride a bit...
