Intercooler Problem

OK I know I asked you guys for a solution or a recommendation in a different post but I can't remember where it was and I didn't have a pic of my problem .. But here is the latest pic of my intercooler sticking out from under my front end... I would like some recommendations on a place where I will not have to order and with good prices... Currently it kinda screams out "look at me I have an intercooler!!" Also a good shop to color match my car and paint the front end.... I've been looking along the lines of the BOMEX front end (bottom pic)... Thanks all for your help!!

i'd suggest buddy club front bumper if you like that. how about the WW RS lip?
just wondering if the center part of the lip will cover the bottom part of the intercooler tho. there's another lip that made by a company that starts with a "T" that will cover it forsure...but new front bumper would be best bet.

I don't think the RS lip will solve that problem... I'd have to take a look at how much is actually sticking out the bottom but in the middle the RS does not add that much matterial down.

How is the i/c mounted on the inside. Did you do any cutting from the inside of the bumper cause I know some folks have to shave

The above pic that I posted (white civic) is a Bomex front and I was quoted $750 does this sound reasonable??? No paint and no installation... From JRP (close to the pearson airport around Brampton area)

Not sure how good that price is, but I know Kennedy Hifi in Scarborough sells Bomex as well. Give Alan a call at (416) 752-2066 and see how much they charge.

Don't buy from JRP. These guys have the highest prices in the city.

Go here: www.importstylez.com

I'd hate to suggest it, but BC Auto had a Buddy Club front bumper last time I was there.

Thumbs up

Was that your car at the AEM seminar? Looks like it. Still running the AEM? Hows it working out?

I'm looking for gun die here in the US to darken my intercooler so it's not as noticeable. Mine isn't even close to as noticeable as yours.

Wow the prices are much mnore reasonable here!!! I go to JRP all the time cause I know someone there and he gives me somewhat of a discount ubt after seeing the other site I guess I'm changing over to someone else now.... The other reason I go there was the attitude I got from some other sales reps in different store and others were cause they fuct up my ride by installing **** incorrectly!!! But I will try out your recommendation and more than likely will change over... Thanks (to everybody) this has been a great help!!

This is getting silly the whole GTA knows of this car now!!! WTF??? I wasn't even there to see all this happenning!!! How was it anyways??? Was it impressive?? I don't even know!! I'm still out of the damn country!!! Yeah gonna still be running the AEM why?? Was there a problem??? I know they had to stop the dyno cause the fuel pump wasn't giving enough gas (that's what my mech said). So all I know is that it was giving 204 Hp to the wheels @ 6500 RPM's... They will be doing another dyno on Thursday... Damn now "im even more paranoid about my car... I don't even know who's seen it... Time to get that boomerang service and 4000 volts to the body of the car...If you have any pics with my license plate showing can you please white it out?? Thanks

I never took pictures of the back of the car, so I don't have any license plates.

I took some video of it too. There's a short clip here, with your car running: http://www.higginstribe.com/movies/aem-ems-demo.mpg

The seminar was pretty good. I got bored around 3pm so I cut out of there. I never saw the final pulls.

**** man - I'd raise some serious hell. I hope you know these guys personally that are working on your car cause that is NOT cool if they are taking advantage of you like that.

The guy is messing with the settings too - brutal.

Keep is in the loop cause this is like soap opera now.
