Won't be the case for me ...
I know that the engine I've got now is not worth modifying, but the swap is not an option for me ... don't wanna deal with any insurance problems. My premium is already high enough ...
So all I need now is to get a little bit of extra juice out of that little engine and wait for my ins. to do down ...

Is the car a 5spd or auto? If swapping isn't an option you might want to try AEM pulleys and Unorthidox underdrive pulley. I was going to get my intake ported and polished but I got the swap instead. Doing that and installing an overbored throttle body should give you some juice.

Do you know any good stores where I could buy the pulleys?
And would I be able to do the job myself, or should it be done at a shop ?

if you're running amps and stuff I don't recommend getting the pulley for your alternator, I've heard that the pulley for the alternator will cause your alternator to fry if you're running too many electronics inside your car
