I have an old but new/never used television tube in my basement (dunno what size). My dad was into fixing things way back before he past.

Anyway, who would I call to come pick it up and dispose of it? Or can I leave it by the curb for the garbage collectors?

Any help would be appreciated.

few options:

1)donate to GoodWill or something like that and they give to tech students to fixup (im thinking about doing this, i also got a tv i might need to get rid of)

2)leave it out for city garbage collection or you could look up special pickup by the city in the yellowpages. dont know if they charge you or not

3)if in west end there is a city dump on terry fox way (mavis/eglinton, west 1or2 streets west of mavis north of eglinton) dont know if they charge or not either

i wouldnt trust takin it to the dump urself, some days they like to charge and the other days they dont juss leave out front or send it to a charity

Ok, it's not an actual TV it's just the tube.

Well if its just the tube, I sure good will won't have a use for it. Although they may. Doesn't hurt to check. And regarding garbage, make sure you don't get charged for it.
