i think there the same fuel pump !!!!!!! correct me if im wrong but i think they used the same fuel pump inside the tank up to 2000 looks like the same part number to me !!!!!!!!!!! for every civic dx-SiR can't find part number after 2000 but 88-2000 there is soo many interchangeable parts from 88-2000 its actually very impressive !!!!!!!!!

remove your rear seat cushion, open the shiny metal top plate to access fuel tank... unplug your battery, undo all the hoses and connectors, then turn the snap ring out and lift the assembly out of the tank, once out of the tank, have a cigarette j/k

then on your workbench, take the pump out of the sending unit and replace. the Nippon Denso are some of the best pumps in the world... but an SiR pump flows the same amount as your DX pump did just so you know it's NOT an upgrade.

The only reason to change your fuel pump is because you need more gas in your engine than the pump can provide. If you haven't replaced your computer then you could put the biggest fuel pump in the world back there and your performance would be the same because the fuel system would be running exactly the same. I'm not even sure if you can top out the stock fuel pump unless you have forced induction requirements.

haha... leave it man - there is no performance to be had here!!!

if you want, change it just cuz it's a newer pump, but for NO OTHER REASON!!!
