Muffler sound Help
I just bought a 99 coupe DX and am looking for a muffler that has a really low bassy tone. I don't want anything that's gunna get high pitch when I'm at high RPMS.
I heard a nice magnaFlow at the last meet and was inspired but didn't get much info out of the guy(my fault). I know pipe length, resonator and muffler itself play a part in it all but I'm not sure of the exact workings. Any help would be appreciated!
If someone could build a text based version of the perfect system for me so I kinda have an idea what to get I would LOVE THAT!
Thanks in advance!

i have an Apex'i World Sport 2. It's quiet. Slightly louder than stock. My friend has a magnaflow with dual tip (two 3" right next to each other) on his 98 hatch cx with 2 1/4" mandrel bent piping from the cat back. It sounds too loud and somtimes a bit farty for my liking.

I have a magnaflow with 2" piping and a res, and it sounds stock. In fact, you can hear my intake over my muffler. If I punch the gas, you can hear the muffler...but it is a deep sound, and not too loud.
