Motor Mount Suggestions?

I've got a '00 Sedan and I believe the mounts are gone on it. I would like a stiffer setup to replace what I have now (Stock Honda). This is because (1.) I plan to track the car (2.) I plan on turboing it. What would you guys recommend as far as replacement mounts?

Stock with inserts? Hasport? What else?

Thanks in advance.

LoL...yeah i need to find some to make me a custom bellhousing...and a bunch of other bull****. Like porting and such things. Which will take time..

In the mean time I have to keep the motor that's running...IN the car...

I had this exact same question a few months ago and I went to go do some research. There is actually a company in Mississauga that makes Acura/Honda motor mounts. They are called Avid Racing. I'm planning on buying those. I have a friend who has recently used them on his Integra. No long run comments right now cause they just installed them... but the car definitely rattles from the stiffness of the polyurethane. These mounts might ONLY be for engine swaps though... so research it further please.

I was originally just going to get Hasport mounts but they're a buttload of money. Also, you can't forget about shipping costs from the United States and possible customs tax. ETDRacing also makes some in-house mounts I think. They quoted me $250 for a set of mounts for my EK.

Someone also suggested to me Innovative mounts. I think that is also based in the United States.

I personally would opt for the Avid Racing mounts just cause they're in Mississauga (less headaches with shipping and all that junk).

just don't expect any tech support with AVID.
I had a horrible experience with AVID mounts. The top tranny mount didn't line up at all (it was litterally over an inch off). So we had to customize the custom mounts b/c avid was doing nothing to help us solve the problem.
Not to mention that we had to buy a gsr timing belt side mount and del sol vtec rear tranny bracket just to use the damn mounts. I wish i would've know this before purchasing those overpriced peices of junk. But no where in the shoddy instructions did it say that you need those other mounts (gotta love surprises). And the "shims" that came with the kit, were nothing more than regular old washers.....like 20 of them.

gsr timing belt cover mount and del sol rear bracket is pretty much standard with that swap. a motor swap isnt BOLT ON. you still need some oem parts to make it work. not trying to flame you, not at all. just that ive seen lots of ppl over react when a swap isnt bolt on like they expect.

umm...well considering that you can use all stock mounts to put pretty much any b-series into any 92-00 civic/teg. I would say it is a BOLT ON affair. I've got a b16 in my 95 coupe with all stock mounts.
This was a different situation, and they said they made CUSTOM mounts for that application....how come i still had to customize the custom mounts?
Just giving my crappy experience with avid racing....a company that has **** tech support usually has **** products.

I would go with Hasport...my brother has them in his EF for about 8yrs now and he just replaced the polyurethane bushings in them. So that should give you a good idea how good they are.

Don't go with Avid... I bought a full set of mounts and they were ok but way too much vibrations. I ended up going back to stock. Trust me you'll regret buying mounts from them, especially if you are thinking of buying the two front lower engine mounts! Basically they were solid steel, and they were made to look as though they were filled with Polyeurothane when infact it was just solid all the way through.
