motor help

alright, my Stock 94 CX motor is giving me problems
it's burning antifreeze, and theres a new headgasket, and intake mani gasket. rad fan won't turn on, so i checked the fuse and relay and they are fine...then i tested the fan with a 12volt supply and it also works fine. naturally the temperature display increases, past half way.
i'm missing a valve cover nut seal......which is where all the steam is rushing out of with lots of air pressure.....i'm gonna get a seal later 2day today but it will lock that pressure in teh cylinder head...... i don't think thats the overheating problem

u have any ideas what it could be???

your head gasket will make it over heat...but your fan I'm not sure...I'd say **** it and save for a new motor...atleast a sohc zc with a chopped ecu cause atleast it's not 70 hp and is 110...or get a d15b 130 hp for like 600-700 bux...???

your cx motor is nto worth spending money on...my ktm 125cc dirt bike had more than half the hp of your car..lol...

well I"m not sure what the problem is with your description...your valve cover dosen't have anythign to do with the head gasket it will jsut leak oil if not installed write....you might have a warped head and a bad ECT sensor that isnt' sensing how hot yoru motor is there for not turnign the fan on possibly...if steam is rushign out of the valve cover then you my friend have a totally ****ed up motor...but jsut incase reexplain this problem...and your car is lighter than an si so....

the headgasket wasnt installed properly...it aint sealing and ur losing coolant...re-do the head gasket and get the head machined and the deck resurfaced to ensure a good seal or just get a new motor ($500 for a sohc zc vtec is better then throwin money into a wimpy cx)

yep listen to Cynikal

the amount of money to spend to get the motor machined agained and fixed is going to be the price of a new motor
