If you are worried about it being loud....get a resonator.
I have 2 1/4 downpipe to a highflow cat then 2 1/2 piping to a resonator and a straight through magnaflow. Did i mention you can hear it while iam crusing. There are some members on here that have heard my car, and cant believe it is so quiet.

Do a poll or something...cause you have to do it right the first time. GET A RESONATOR orelse it will be really loud.

I also have a magnaflow. Mine sounds almost stock, but you can really hear it when I punch it.
Very nice muffler for the price IMO, but other people may disagree.

I think it depends on your engine. My friend has a 98 cx hatch with a stock D16Y7 with a magnaflow muffler with the twin 2.5 or 3 inch tips on it and a custom 2-1/4 inch mandrel bent piping. Its a little loud, and kinda makes a brrraaap if ya know what i mean, but it sounds nice still.

It also depends on the size of muffler you get.

The 5x11 will obviously be louder than the 4x9.

I got a 4x9 (p/n 14355), and it's very quiet.

That's a nice looking muffler brah almost stock looking but
I bet it's a straight through design , if so it should have a
deep throaty sound with a resonator...

Magna Flow

Yea, it is a straight through design.

How would it sound without a resonator? cuz I don't have a resonator on my car rite now.

I dont want it too be too loud or too quiet. I just wanna hear lil bit of the exhaust sound.

I have a resonator on my car...but I can't imagine that particular muffler being very loud without one.

Mine isn't a straight through design either.

i got a magnaflow and a 2 1/4" mandrel bent exhaust.. with a straight through resonator... it sounds really nice.. i love the sound.. not high pitched at all... but its pretty loud... its the same style picture you posted... i dun think its that bad except at high rpm;s .. but most aftermarket mufflers are loud at high rpms.. so nothing to complain about

If you have a very high flow exhaust meaning headers , high flow
cat and 2 1/4 pipe then you might get rattle or "bees in a can"
effect then just slap on a resonator to get that CLEAN SOUND...
