lowered car sits uneven

installed tokico HP kit (shocks + springs) about 2 months ago at Gilman's Auto in scarborough. the drivers side is lower than passenger side and they said i had to wait for them to settle. went back for an alignment and checked the problem, they said theres nothing they can do..
whats wrong!? how can this be fixed?

when springs settle the settle with the weight of you rcar.
do u have allot of passengers in the front?
if not then thats is why it sits uneven. i had this same problem and that is why i put coil overs in, then i corner weighted the car, so when i sit in the car its level but when i get out its uneven.

they are settled after 2 months... what you are noticing is on every civic excluding the k series... the engine sits on the drivers side... you sit on the drivers side... thats all it is the only way to truly get ride of it is to get coilovers though

I have the Illumina kit and I had to wait a while for it to settle. I went to about 5 different sources to have it checked to see if it was installed properly. In the end it settled evenly after 2-3 months.

add a little weight on the side that sits higher like some bricks or bags of sand on the floor when u park the car for the night, but it won't hurt to drive with it. be carefull to much weight and that side will settle lower than the other one. i would use the same amount of weight that u weigh

I've tried weighting one side with bags of salt for a few months, but the passenger side keeps rising higher than driver side. I'm guessing the car has long settled on my Suspension Tech springs. Don't really want to spend the money on coilovers. Can someone pls explain what "corner weighting" means.

Thx in advance.

corner weighing is used only with a coil over system, it balances your car properly

Oh well... ain't gonna spend money on coils for a car that just goes to work and back. I love the stock-like ride of my lowering springs anyhow. The gangsta lean will stay... until I can find a fat chick.
