lower balljoint+tie rod replacement?
I am just wondering how much it is going to cost me to replace the lower balljoints as well as the tie rods on both driver and pass side of a 97 civic coupe?

Shortly before I traded my 98, I had the front lower ball joints replaced. The balljoints themselves were under $100, but the labour involved to change them would have been very $$$ under normal circumstances. The axels and hub assemblies needed to be totally dismantled in order for the ball joints to be removed and the axels were a huge PITA to take out due to the rust etc holding everything together.
The tie rods looked pretty easy however. It took Scott Newman about 15 min to change one on another members car while he was working on mine.

^^ ahh, hopefully it isn't too expensive then...i know that ball joints are a pain to change without the proper tools like myself and my buddy found out on his golf...lol...but with everything at ur access i hope they don't charge too much for labour.......if they do however, i am going to whip out ol mr. c*ck and slap the guy in the face with it until he lowers the price......team rukus will be there but i suggest u move outa the way due to the size of it..can't have any unnessesary fatalities....hheheheheh
