heh, check your horn, does it work? IF it doesn't, or seems like giving you weak connection (like not as loud), then your horn support (that thin metal long piece) is snapped.

Solution, redrill a hole and bolt it back on. But take off your bumper first, very easy to fix. If that is the issue.

I know because it has happened to me 5 times.

Charles.. I don't think he would feel the horn bracket moving around..

Anyways, give your front end an overview, I have a few things in mind, but it sounds to me like it's a balljoint. Does it thud a few times when you make a turn?

no sounds when i steer complete to the left or right
it only makes the knocking sound when i accelerate from a dead stop. if i accelerate fast though no noise. its when i accelerate slowly.

Knocking sound (from my own opinion) came from your horn, dangling from the wire, rocking back and forth hitting your radiator, that's what the knocking sound is.

It is like a pendulum. Just take a look through the bumper.

Worn joint of bushing. Not the tie rods if the steering is fine. More then likely a worn out lower ball joint (they can make a huge difference in the ride). Check your upper. If they have too much play or they are too stiff, replace them, dont let a ball joint snap because you were too cheap, it will cost you adleast tripple the fix the damage then it is to replace a 50$ ball joint.
