Rear Disk Brakes

Rear Disk Brakes
I have a DA Integra that is going to be scrapped. The car has rear disk brakes. What would I need to take from the car in order fit them to mine. My car is a 2000 EK Sedan, 9.4 inch discs up front, Drums Rear.

dunno if the ebrake cables off a DA would work. pick up SiR cables just to be sure.
but for the LOVE of GOD, why would you want 15 year old parts on your car. I mean that trailing arm bushing takes a lotta abuse, why put an old one on a car that's only a few years old.
I would never EVER put parts on my car that were made before my car was made.
unless you go out and get all new bushings, new calipers, new rotors, new flex lines, new brake cables.... and then sandblast the trailing arm, paint it or even better powdercoat it... and then you're good.
but even so... your pedal is gonna sink to the floor cuz of the extra displacement from the rear pistons.... the lil 13/16 master cylinder wasn't meant to push the extra volume. so then you need a booster and a 15/16 master cyl too.

LOL Bruno...
Legitmate concerns. It was just a thought that occured to me today. The car is mine to strip for parts of which I am already taking the motor which is fairly new. So I thought why not see about the discs in the rear?
This mod like the motor is a long term thing, like the suspension I did over the summer. I want to amass the right parts THEN do it. When I do it I plan on having better rotors, lines etc...I agree it would be stupid to just slap it on, especially when I think these rotors are bigger than my fronts.
So I dunno. Should I? I mean if everything looks alright, I replace the bushing. It should be good correct? This is tempting cause its costing me nothing which is a better solution than buying a used set or all new stuff from Honda.
Perahps I could take the front knuckles and upgrade my fronts...I dunno...

so your putting a 15 year old engine into your 2000 EK?
I hope you've got a hydro tranny to use (b/c the avid racing hydro to cable tranny conversion kit is garbage, i know b/c i've had to use/customize one).
I wouldn't be using that old *** stuff on my new(er) car either.

Matt you should've asked me yesterday at the meet. I'm no sure what you need but let me know.
Chris I'm not sure what your getting at. From what Charles mentioned to me, the knuckle is the key thing for the front brake upgrade. So once I have that I can upgrade to any Integra braking system. Or is the GSR knuckle different?
