usdm ITR booster doesn't fit into my 98 si firewall. What I can do? please help.

get an SiR booster and master cylinder

BUT, it's supposed to fit, I've seen ppl run ITR booster and m/c in EK chassis before.

You sure you're putting it in correctly?

yes, I'm sure i put it in correctly. I can even screw 2 bolts out of 4 under my dash. but the rest of 2 is not long enough coz the booster doesn't sit even on firewall. I saw some people swapped a JDM ITR booster with MC on EK dx civic without any problem on honda-tech.com with pictures. I doubt if auto version firewall has different pattern from manual version.

Since mine is an auto SI, so the stock MC and booster are the same with SIR, 15/16 cylinder with ABS.

you know... I'm not sure if auto to manual are different. I wanna say NO, because the pedal cluster from the manual car bolts into the auto car, so the firewall should be the same. What I'm guessing may be the problem is that you have an extra bracket or two in there maybe cuz of the auto pedal cluster. Take a second look in there, see if it's the pedal cluster that's a problem. the firewall should be the same!!

good enough for now. I'll double try that. If it's really firewall's problem, i may need to custom a spacer for booster. Thanks again

I very much doubt the firewall is any different. Get under the dash of a stick car, see for yourself. Go to a meet, there should be some stick cars you can compare to. Good luck.

firewalls are the same, the booster has to fit.
