Issues with bypassing coolant passages on the intake system

Apparently, it can allow for cooler air to flow in the intake...
I'm thinking about doing this to my B18B. Anyone know of peoples experience with this setup?
Apparently, under extreme cold conditions, the throttle can freeze up...
Also, idle may become poor.
Anyone's comments?

I've been thinking about doing this a while back. It will lower intake temps a bit. But only good for guys who live in places where there's no cold weather.
But for us, as you mentioned, will freeze up the throttle.

For Canadian weather you might not want to by pass the coolant operated sensors. It'll become a hassle for cool starts.
But for your motor there are two coolant sensors... One on the throttle body and the other on the IACV. You can get away with by passing the one on the throttle, but you'll need the one on the IACV.
