mine were rusted too

i just went to honda picked up a new bushing and bolt and was on my way

pretty easy

my bolts have a bit of rust on em...but i think they should still come off...maybe i should leave this job up to the pros

use a torch and heat them up that's what the pro's do lol!

i only suggest torching them if its your last resort and you plan on replacing your bushings soon.. cause torching them will burn out the rubber and they will be no good anymore

Why not just get loudsubs to do them, stop all the confusion. Remove the possibility of tearing off the top portion of your head in the driveway......

no need for a spring compress just have a friend put his foot on the spring and when you then loosen the top bearing from the shock, the shock will shoot about 2 feet away from you, as the springs tension is released as you decompress it.

tourching also makes the metal harder and britler use some thread deseizer first and then use loc tite on them after or a similar thread lock/anti seasant. stay away from the tourch if at all possible if you wanna drive up to bradford just south of newmarket i can install them for you at my firends parents midas. PM me if you want to, a 24 of budweiser and there in lol

tried to shoot spring down the street and ended up shooting the parts near my face!!!! --yeah im a dumbass.

not injured but was yelling like a little girl

I did m,y springs and shocks in my driveway. Not hard to do at all. Borrowed a spring compressor from crappy tire adn went to work.

My 1997 LCA bolts were seized, had to take it to a shop to get thoses suckers out. I eneded up stripping one of the bolts in my attempt to get it out -- had to be cut out. The bolts didnt look rusted at all. I didnt have air tools however.

i lower cars with seized lca bolts... no need to replace LCA... bring your springs and $120
