hi, I tried searching on google but couldnt seem to find out how much my car weighs. It was my moms old car but she gave it to me, i plan on putting a gsr engine in it soon but i wanted to know how much it weighs first, i was thinking it may be pretty heavy because it is the ex model with power doors, windows, steering, mirrors, everything is power except the sunroof (it has no sunroof). It is also the ex model that came with the 1.5 L motor (yes, not all ex models had the 1.6).

How much does it weigh, it hjas no mods yet, not even a system, only thing i have done to it so far is prepared it for paint and shaved the door mouldings

i remember the 5th gen Si hatch's are 2324 lbs stock... and the 90 crx Si is like 50-70 lbs less... those are the only ones i remember mines probably a good bit lighter then the 2324 though and in a couple months it'll go to like 2400

it says 2520 for the EX, which is our ex-v... the one with the D16 (and Si tranny) and rear discs and moonroof and stuff... yours is probably just a bit more than mine

do you have airbags and A/C? I don't...

wieght of the car depends on the year it was made.... I'd recommend geting it baselined first just find a place that does corner wieghing and jump the car on to the scales and see...

Iam not to sure about you guys. But in my Honda maintenance book it has a print out of MY exact car weight. To anyone looking to find it in there book. It should be on the first or last page with a print out of your VIN number and colour.

Alittle bit of difference in the 2.......

Doesn't it say on your driver's side door pillar? There's the sticker there that says towing capacity, tire pressure, load capacity, and i'm sure it says the vehicle weight.

I weighed my Saturn wagon, it pounds the pavement with 2700 lbs of force I have not weighed the Civic yet.... see all I gotta do is go through the tunnel to Detroit, and ask the dude how much my car weighs - and I don't take the Civic to Detroit unless I absolutely have to.
