how much mileage does your Civic give you?

k well I just tlked to my sales person and since the 375km was on the first fill up they gave me..he said fill up the car a few more times and it should be working fine. Now im on my second tank for the car and its almost half way down and I only drove 95km on it :S....
and I drive slow and accelerate slow and brake easy too, my rpm is usually under 2.5 so i dunt know why its giving this poor mileage...havent driven on the highway yet either as the car only has 500km on it.

That's not right for sure ..
My friend's 08 EX-L gets about 460km/L when there's 3-4 bars left (All City driving).
BTW, the meter isn't always correct because every time I fill up with the light on, it only let me fill 40L out of 50L tank we have.

That's on a really bad day with my car. (I drive and Automagic) You drive a manual or Auto?
Full tank, see, with the 06-09 the gauge isn't the most accurate thing in the world.
Drive, fill the tank, mark you KM and the # of litres you fill. Do this for about 5 tanks.
So first tank, you drive 375km (gauge was full, now there are no bars), fill it up, 35-40litres. Next tank, do the same, etc.
375km with 35ltrs would be almost 11km per litre, or 550km per tank. or 9l per 100km (somthing like that)
I get , normally, 400-450km on 35litres. Which works out to around 640 - 650 per tank, 99% city. If I do hwy driving, I get 14-17km per litre. It all depends wht you cruise at, shift at, stop and go traffic kills mileage.
Don't idle, using the air or defrost eats up your fuel economy too. Weight is an issue as well.
**edit** Our tanks are only 50litres. When you hit the no bar zone, you usually have 7 - 10 litres still in your tank **/edit**

I get about 550-600 in my Si.
375 does seem very, very low. Especially for an R18 Civic. I don't remember my Si being that bad when it was new, but it's possible once the car starts to break itself in a little, it may get better. If it's still that bad after afew tanks, I would definately that it to the dealer and have them check it out.

My 99 ek just hit 430k and runs amazing. Original motor. I bought the car acouple months back with 425000 and took it for safety and etest and passed with flying colours. I was happy since I picked up the car for $1800 and its mint.

Was the trip meter reset to "0" the first time it was filled up? And again reset when you filled it up?
My record is 700km's to about 47 litres (tank full) in my 00' SiR. On average I get 550-650 per tank.
