how to identify lsd trannies

Does anyone know how to identify weather or not a tranny is lsd or not. I'm looking for a zc lsd tranny and want to know what to look for. Thanks allot.

Like down into the tranny (where the shafts go) -- if you can see through to the other side it is LSD equipped. If your site is obstructed with a bar it is an open-diff.

yup, that was the first thing I checked with mine, thank God for the TCC or I would have had to take the guy's word for it...

do a burnout and look for two black lines on the road?.....lol haha, thats what i did when i bought my old civic with lsd, dumped the clutch and roasted the tires for a second.

thats doesnt mean anything, my stock si tranny can spin both wheels on burnouts

go to an importer and find one, they should have a bunch of trans on the floor, try to find one with an lsd and offer them 200 bucks hoping they wont notice.
