Header advice

Now that I have my Magnaflow axel-back installed, my next plan is for an SiR cat and mid-pipe (bigger diameter, mandrel bends, free flowing compared to OEM). I have 3 questions:

1. Will any D-series header fit my D16Y8 if I decide to buy a used one?
2. What is a good affordable aftermarket header? Headmen, Ractive, Vibrant, HP Racing, etc.
3. What is better 4-2-1, or 4-1? Two piece, or one?

Comptech Icebox??? Anyone have one? I am looking at a used one, and was wondering how they perform. My PRM question started a war, and I am still considering one, but Iceboxes are supposed to be very good.
Thanks.Mike

1. Yes D series are all the same. The diff between the 92-95 Si Header (D16Z6) and 96-00 Si (D16Y8) is the O2 sensor on the d16y8 is near the cat, and the o2 sensor on the d16z6 is on the front of the header, so you gotta do some o2 sensor moving around.

4-2-1 will give you more useable power (low to mid range) while a 4-1 header is mostly high end power. I would suggest 4-2-1 for daily driver.

I think that's a myth based on looking at dyno results. I'd buy a 4-1 myself. Just look at the dynos for yourself.
