Hard brake line punctured | Need help with fix
So, on the driver side rear of my car I was trying to disconnect the hard brake line from the flex line. The two are so rusted together that the hard line was turning with the nut when I was trying to disconnect it from the flex line. So I turn the nut back to untwist the hard line and brake fluid starts coming out. I assume there's a leak in my hard line now. Is there a way to patch this up without changing my entire hard brake line? Or would you recommend that I just change the entire hard brake line? Is this difficult? Everything is rusted to crap.

Replace the line from the master cylinder back is about the only correct and SAFE way to fix it.
Also check your other brake lines. If they're in poor shape now would be a good time to change them.

yea, if its all rusted replace it all but if most of it was good and u wanted to be cheap u could cut and flare the ends use some unions and make a patch piece...NO COMPRESSION FITTINGS!!! flare them ends and unionize them
