Wow, I didn't expect all the replies. Thanks guys, I am still doing alot of research on doing this swap. What my plans are is to basically have a street legal drag car. I plan on turboing whatever motor I put in. I am basically torn between an H22, Sir, or LS/vtec for a motor. Anyone have any suggestions to which would be the better motor to work with. Right now I'm thinking the LS and franking it later would be the best way to go. Anyways any suggestions appreciated, again thanks for the replies.

the cheaper motor to use is the ls... you can turbo it stock and make decent numbers

but with less of the magic thing called torque which is in the low RPM's for the H22

yes indeed....i hear bad things about h22 tranny, i say ..if u ARE going turbo for sure than b16, put it this was the fastest honda in canada is running a turbo b16 in a eg hatch...and thats splitfire...so if ur planning on turbo for sure...than b16 and build it up strong valve train and rods and so on...build the **** out of it for turbo...and u have many tranny options long or short ratios, so its all good IMO
