I heard H tranny's aren't as durable as B tranny's. So the kit must be a good Idea. If you plan to make some serious power with a built up H anyway's.

only real advantage is pre install cause you only require one mount or something (in a 5th gen)... plus you dont need a cable shifter obviously...

Out of curiosity, would the B-series transmission mounted on the H series engine with the adapter plate line up the centerline of the axles with the centerline of the hub more effectively? That would solve the majority of the half shaft maladies save for 7K clutch drops on drag slicks.

find a machine shop that can make u the plate, unless he is including a bunch of other things $1000 is alot
