From the start of ppl placing h22 motors into Honda civics the main concern has been :
All the parts, cost, reliabilty, labour blah blah blah.... But Now.... Keep your D series axels, your motor mounts, your linkage, and ..... YOUR TRANNY. Thanks to :

Lets not turn this thread into a D series bashing or H2B vs H2D... THANKS....

Cablerat wuts up man...long time... yes there are NO hood clearance issues.

Yeah this definitely looks interesting.. I could image how funny the thing would look in the car.. You got this huge *** engine and a lil D tranny.
Couple of extras to consider..
A custom driverside mount is required for all d-series based chassis, and 0.5" x 7" strip shaved from the block/pan assembly to allow access for the driverside axle shaft. Depending on the chassis frame, use of an aftermarket crank pulley may be required.

Yes that is correct Cablerat..... u need to shave a tad from the block/pan.... and also a custom mount. But for ef's and eg's u DO NOT NEED A CUSTOM CRANK PULLEY.
Either way you slice this.... u dont need any cutting/butchering, or a h series tranny, or custom axels, or all different mounts ..... and all the rest of the reg. h series swap.
Now... a lil D tranny? They have held up many many times to 400+whp. And they cost $200 so... I think replacing a d series tranny is better then replacing a butter h series tranny cost is about 1/4 . Also stock d series axels have seen 300ish whp... more then the average hseries swap person will see... and if anything they are DIRT cheap to purchase!
This conversion kit has set records and used for 4+ YEARS.
Its a QUALITY PIECE!!!
