h&r race + 16" 42mm + 40 series tires
on a 6th gen coupe... 2.5/2.25" drop I beleive

will they RUB?

If you get the right offset (+42 I believe for Civic) then 16's should not rub. I run 17's and haven't rubbed yet (front or back)

yeah depends on the offset, i couldn't tell you off hand of 42 mm is too much, or just enough or what, i have no clue.... i think you should be alright tho, i think BOND 007 is running a set up like that, and he's fine as far as i know...

I used to rub the slightest bit when I was real low >2.5" on 17" w/ 42mm and 205/40/17. You should be okay....I raised my car a bit so I don't rub n-e more.
