This way you can control the exact oil pressure to the turbo.
ya its called an oil restrictor, which you can order from stealthmode for 14$ US

don't use a FMU.
Pump is a must 255lph of course.
i'd get something in the 550cc range for injectors (trust me you'll want more boost and they'll be able to handle a little more). RC, precision, MSD, Seimens, Accel are all good injectors.
A regulator and guage is ok, but an aftermarket rail is pointless under super high WHP setups, stock is ok.
Doing all/most of the work yourself is the only way ur gunna stay in ur price range.

I use an FMU on my turbo cavy....it works but it's a cheap unreliable way to tune your boosted engine...

I don't recomend it.....it will fight against the chrome system while tuning and just cause problems...lol

Just set the fuel pressure on your fuel rail and let chrome do the rest...

Yeah I could use mega-squirt or something like that but i don't have the money...I'm just a cheap-budget weekend warrior...lol

the car has 260,000 on the original motor and my boosting it up to 10 psi....not worth putting a stand alone or piggy-back EMS in it to have it grenade on the next run...lol.

We're currently setting up a magesquirt system on our 87 MR2 race car (4agze engine). I'm working on installing the EDIS for the ignition system so we can run the magesquirt....

We're eventually gonna twin charge it (SC and turbo)

You use chrome to tune your ignition maps/fuel maps among many other things... You can also use it as a 2-step system (a 2nd map) for drag racing (to build boost on the line). But it's gonna be daily driven so ingore the last thing I said...lol...

I don't know chrome that well, zeeman and others on here can tell you alot more about it.

you can reach your goal of 275whp at 8psi, but i'd probably doubt you'd make that on that kit you ordered. i'm making about 280whp at 8psi on stock internals but my over all setup is a bit different.

tuning is as important as every other piece of your kit put together, because without it they don't perform.

hey weiRtech....neptune will be available for the public in a few weeks, i'm definately gunna give it a try....hella expensive compared to crome though....but it comes with a real time programmer/datalogger.
And he's right about tuning, its so important.

jesus god damn. you went over your budget already and you still need more parts + the most expensive thing, tuning.

if you didnt rush right away you coulda built a nice custom setup of your own for your daily driver cheaper. Lol.

but i guess thats how everyone is when they want something the first time (just get it Lol)

im sure you will be happy with the difference in power for sure after its all said and done.

also really the building of the bottomend is kinda much to spend just for a low boost daily driver but it ups the chances of you not blowing it up.

good luck with the build!

Yeeah, i figured everyone keeps telling me its going to cost more than 2000 so i figured what the hell... might as well order it and get the feel of boost... so in this way i can just upgrade and add parts and learn more....
