hey i am get some new headers intake and exhuast for my gsr that is in my eg

i wanted to know what kind of header can i get for around 400 dollars that would give me some horse power

also which intake should i get i got a aem ram air but what would be the just intake cold or ram air and also what company

and with exhuast i was think on getting a vibrant exhuast 2.5 b/c i already have a full exhuast just want to get a new cat what would be the best one.

your title sounds liek you are talking aboiut building the internals of your motor... anyway.

grab a meagan racing header from one of the affiliates or ex affiliates with the 2.5" collector. and your short ram is prob fine man, unless you feel the need for a 4 foot intake tube... just get a good filter, but if it is that ****, spend the money buy a new I/M cause the GSRs are crap and most people ddont even have the IABs wired up so they dont run at their full potential... and then get one of those whale ***** intakes or something.

so are you getting a new exhaust or a cat?

Get a Magnaflow cat for you set up. They cost like 70 bucks at Partsource. For a header I'd grab a DC sport 4/1 header. I saw a header comparison in some mag and the dc sport made the most gains over the entire powerband compared to all of the others. As for intakes a tube is a tube although I have heard good things about the whale dick thing.

get a vibrant SS model. DC headers aren't that great imo (sorry rick)

intake, doesn't matter, as long as the filter is free-flowing,.
