Is it an aftermarket mandrel bent exhaust?
The mandrel bending process leaves oil in the piping. When they're new they burn the oil and that's what you smell. It should go away tho.
Did you get the car rust proofed recently? That could do it too.
Otherwise; I'd look for holes in your trunk area letting exhaust through.

out of all 4 ED chassis civic/crx, first gen crx and my sts I have never experienced exhaust fumes coming in via the sunroof when open. only time ever was if I had my hatch open to transport cargo would fumes enter the cabin

Is it a kind of.. lol i cant describe the smell..but i know what your talking about.
Your either burning oil ( How hard are you driving it? )
Or your running really rich.
Check your oil level too.
______
>oh if you have a swapped motor do you have the proper sized piping. Cause i know some ppl dont get their exhaust done after a swap to a more powerfull engine (lol not gonna name names) therfore causing back up in the piping..
