I think ive been posting a little to much about stupid newb things lately, but i was wondering if anyone else with a b16 or any motor ever experiences an exhaust smell coming into the car under hard throttle and especially when hitting vtec, it might be an exhaust leak, but the exhaust is not old or corroded so i have no idea whats up.

do you have a cat? if not itll smell like exhuast

Is the exhuast past the bumper? if not itll get trapped under the car and make its way inside

exhuast manifold gasket could need replacing and fumes are seeping thru the sides


wheres your pcv routed too...is it open to the atmosphere?

it is past the bumper and i do have a cat, its weird how its only during vtec or hard driving, its bareable tho so ill just wait till i get some more exhaust work done to sort it out.
