ES master bushing kit

Hey everyone, with my car turning over 190,000km now, i'm thinking of going with ES master bushing kit (black one), whats it cost to get these installed, don't think Scott can do em cause a press is needed, but i'll ask him. What did it costs, where ya get it done and did you notice a big improvement?

also is there anything not included in their master kit thats usefull for suspension? I already have short shifter bushings and like those.

I purchased my ES master kit(black) off of ebay about 5 years ago for $230CDN shipped(I think?) not including the bend over UPS brokerage fees.

I installed the kit by myself on my hatch, took me approximately 8-10 hours without the use of a press and a bunch of seized bolts. A press would greatly ease the process of installation. With the proper tools and equipment as well as no seized/broken bolts it should take around 5 hrs labour @shop rate.

I noticed it tightened up the steering of my car and though it was more harsh over bumps, the communication or feedback from the chassis was well worth the tradeoff. Now you can actually approach the limits of the chassis without it feeling like a wet noodle.

The only bushings that the ES Master bushing set does not come with are 1)Large Rear Trailing arm bushings and 2)Front sway bar busings.

The Large Rear trailing arm bushings are a topic of discussion as alot of people enjoy the stiffness but feel that they impede the movement(articulation) of the suspension. And as you probably already know, the Civic/Integra chassis is very sensitive to changes in rear toe settings(bump steer)

Anyone else have a similar experience?

To have a shop change the bushings, you can easily pay out 500 dollars.

I use the rear trailing arm bushings, noticed launch was better.

It wont feel like a factory street car anymore... If comfort is important to you or someone you share the car with, by all means dont do it.

Most people that dont care, or know nothing about performance auto will think your car is a piece of **** cuz it rides like ****, its noisy, squeeky and the steering becomes very sensative and twitchy

I did all the bushings on my car in about 5 hours, using hand/air tools and no press. The biggest hold up was getting the seized bolts outs.

Once the arms, etc were out of the car I torched the bushings and cut the sleeves.
