ES Master Bushing kit not worth it??

For the 6th gens that is.

Attempted to replace the LCA rear bushings today from the kit, but to our dismay, the kit does not have nor replace any of the LCA bushings in the rear. We (the professor) and myself were under the impression it would, even if it was just the 2 per side (refer to chris's thread on suspension aftermath.

No word back from ES either that he emailed?

whats going on?

thats weird mine included all three bushings for the rear lca... but it didn't include any bushings that touch the trailing arm... that kit is an extra $35....

i'm so close to finishing the fronts right now... i got every bushing in except the upper control arm ones which i can't for the life of me get in....

his has the one big Trailing arm bushing that connects the front of the trailing arm to the under side of the chasis, but does not include a single LCA bushing..

we double checked and even went through all the sleeves and out of the 4 availble sleevs none of them were the right ones for it, and there was no mention of the LCA in the parts list...

i guess its just a heads up if your looking for this kit to replace a few bushings in the LCA (as I know some are looking for this in the first place)

now we need to go buy more bushings to finish the install, its a pain.

when i turn left to right and back really fast it does seem more firm... but the real test will come when i'm not rolling on snow tires anymore

Chris,

yeh I see that now, its stupid because JDM Warehouse told mike it included those bushings in the kit which was why The Professor bought the kit mainly in the first place.

no

for the 6th gen it replaces nothing in the rear LCA

so if you have seized bolts, you need to hit up honda for OEM

i bet a lot of people dont know about the variances between generations for the master kits... it sucks that you can't even buy 6th gen lca bushings though... cause i could buy the trailing arm bushing if i wanted....

one weird thing that happened is my car has toe in now though... dont know if thats cause my factory ones had so much sag or just how i bolted it together

it's in how you put it together. when I did my brake swap my rear tires sat like this /----\ if you are looking at the axle from the top. Mad toe in. The tires were totally finished after about 600 kms, and I had tire dust on my rear bumper Anyways, I had the car aligned and put my new wheels/tires on and it was all good!

ya i figured as much, i knew i'd need a new alignment though... i dont think i need new ball joints either cause since its been together again i've not heard any noises... cause the noise always happened when i pulled out of my driveway cause there was like 1.5" drop and my wheel would be turned a fair bit but no more....

i think somebody should give energy suspension i ring and see whats the dillio here... i was also under the impression it would include all suspension bushings... at least mine came with the rear lca bushings

woops I was looking at the top part for the individual pieces...

but that aside I can assure you it does not come in the set, or mike did not receive it in his package, but it didn't seem like anything was missing.. which is a **** off.
