engine wont start

i recently put a b16 into my 89 civic dx and the motor turns over but it seems that it is not getting any fuel. i need to know where to start on trying to fix the problem and also is there any sensor or vaccum line that if it is not hooked up will not allow the motor to start.

check your dizzy, clean it out and make sure your firing order is right. Also check ALL fuses.

do you hear your fuel pump?

does the check engine light go off when you put it from accessory into on, but not cranking?

check your plugs and see what condition they are in.. and if they are wet indicating that some fuel is getting into the cylinders
