Engine Bay Grounding

my friend mike and i are going to buy wire and cleanly ground some stuff in our engine bays...

my questions would be...

1st.. what is a list of things that we should ground?

2nd.. what size wire should we use to ground with?

I would use atleast 4gauge wire, better to have less resistance. The major grounds are Alternator to chassis, Engine to chassis and negative battery terminal to chassis. Doing more than that IMO is a waste but if you want find another part to do a ground. Also I would sugguest upgrading your power wire from the alternator to the battery to the same size wire, dont forget to fuse it with the same fuse thats on the original wire.
